Rabbi Seth Farber, Ph.D.
Seth Farber is a Modern Orthodox rabbi and historian.
He is a graduate of New York University, was ordained by the Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary of Yeshiva University in 1991, received his Masters in Judaic Studies from Yeshiva University in 1995, and a PhD from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem in 2000.
The New York Times called Farber a “pragmatic idealist” who believes that Orthodox Jews — including the rabbinate — and non-Orthodox Jews need to learn to “to trust each other” sufficiently to work together on difficult issues of personal status.

Sarah joined ITIM in 2015 after holding senior management positions in a wide variety of high-tech fields. She was a founding member of the AppNexus Israel development center (over 1,000 employees world-wide), COO at Mavrik Dental Systems, Corporate Global VP at Star Defense Systems (TASE traded with 7 subsidiaries), and VP Operations at ChiasmaPharma (NASDAQ:CHMA), among others. Sarah holds a BA in Sociology from Queens College CUNY and a Masters of Social Work from Yeshiva University.
Elad Caplan, Adv.
Elad holds a BA with honors in Law and Political Science from Bar Ilan University, and is currently a graduate student in Science, Technology, and Society at Bar Ilan University. He graduated from the kibbutz yeshiva Ma’ale Gilboa. At the Ministry of Justice, Elad specialized in the judiciary and information technology, and has also worked as a content editor for the website Nana10 as well as the activities coordinator and speaker for the movement “Realistic Religious Zionism.” Elad has participated in a variety of public initiatives for Jewish renewal.
Director of Marketing
Einat holds a BA in Economics and Business Administration as well as an MBA from Bar Ilan University.
She has worked in public relations, as a marketing communications manager, and as a brand and category manager for TALDOR, Nestlé Ice Cream, and The Strauss Group.
Elisheva holds a BA in Social Work and a MA in Political Science specializing in Democracy and Citizenship Studies from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Elisheva worked as an academic consultant at the School for Overseas Students at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, and as a social worker at a center for advocacy and rights in a welfare office.
Jenny graduated from Columbia University with a BA in Psychology and Middle Eastern Cultures. She is a licensed Toenet Beit Din (Rabbinical-Court Pleader).
Esther Bisawer, Adv.
Legal and Public Policy
Esther is a graduate of the Hebrew University, and specialized in criminal law at the State Attorney’s office. Esther worked in as a PR delegate for the State of Israel, and worked in formal and informal education in a number of Jewish communities abroad.
Sara Weinberg, Adv.
Legal and Public Policy
Sara Weinberg holds an LLB. Certificate (Cum Laude) from Bar Ilan University Law School. Sara interned at the Department of International Affairs at the State Attorney’s Office. She managed the Administrative Litigation Department at Yehuda Raveh & Co. Law Offices, while serving as a legal counsel of the Jerusalem Institute for Justice, on issues of immigration, freedom of religion and social justice.
Sara served for a number of years as a legal and educational facilitator of workshops for the Sexual Harassment Crisis Center in Tel Aviv, as well as having been involved in coordinating various Jewish Identity youth programs in Israel and abroad. Sara is also an alumna of Yeshivat Hadar, NY, and is the coordinator of its alumni activity in Israel.
Yoni holds a BA in Marketing and Business Administration from Jerusalem College of Technology.
Worked with assisting individuals and families in the field of government subsidized housing. Fluent Russian speaker.
